Furness Vale Pedestrian Footpaths
Site visit to assess pedestrian footpaths at Furness Vale 10 July 2012. Two particular pedestrian footpaths were examined, following a compliant by Vera Mellor, who regularly uses these and had a fall at one of them.
Tactile Paving Protected by Bollards
High Peak Access Group, Buxton Visually Impaired Group and Derbyshire County Council have worked together to get bollards put in outside Sainsbury's on Buxton Market Place, to prevent drivers parking across and blocking the tactile paving crossing point at the entrance.

Toddbrook Sailing Club
The Sailing Club has obtained 50k from Sport England for replacement or refurbishment of the Sailing Club Boathouse. The application to Sport England included improving accessibility with the provision of ramped or level access, and an accessible toilet.

Howard Town Mill - HPBC
High Peak Access had some concerns about disabled access into and around the new Howard Town Mill development in Glossop.
New Mills Leisure Centre
A small steering group of volunteers from High Peak Access had been working hard over the past two years with Mark Rushworth, Leisure Contract & Sports Development Officer, and Stacy Wilde, General Manager, New Mills Leisure Centre; to help shape, and ensure that the Leisure Centre’s renovation into a Village concept was, and is accessible for disabled people with a wide range of impairments.
